The
increasing use, misuse and normalisation of legal and illegal substances
has enormous impact on individual and societal life. The Substance
Use and Misuse Team at Thames Valley University offers a range of
services for people from a variety of professional backgrounds (including
the health and social sector, criminal justice system, and education),
who work in the field of drugs and alcohol, or whose work brings
them in contact with the abuse of substances.
We
provide education, training and consultancy on drug and alcohol
issues.
The following pages are a source of information for both students
and professionals in the field of drug and alcohol use and misuse
and provide an overview of our work in this area.

asked questions and is a good initial source of information.
